General Pest Control
Misting
Misting/mist blowing
of water based pesticide in areas identified and confirmed with
flies/mosquitoes. Use of non-hazardous chemicals certified by Food and
Drug Administration.Depending on the situation, source reduction, biocontrol, larviciding (control of larvae), or adulticiding (control of adults) may be used to manage mosquito populations. These techniques are accomplished using habitat modification, pesticide, biological-control agents, and trapping. One method employed on a mosquito outbreak is misting which produces a heavy cloud of smoke to immediately kill adult mosquito and is rendered hand in hand with a larviciding treatment. An increasing number of households have purchased timed-release misting systems to control mosquitoes and other insects around the home. However, advertisers, the media, and other sources sometimes provide information about misting systems that is difficult to understand or might conflict with other information.

Spraying
Spot treatments using pesticide(Permethrin/Deltamethrin/Dichlorvos) for knock down and residual control of crawling pests. Target sites include wall/floor or wall/ceiling junctions, around doorways, underside of table and sinks, around pest accesses to food stores and equipment and surfaces around dining areas.
Crack and crevice treatment of shallow harborages in which cockroaches or other pests may hide, using low pressure pinstream applications to avoid wasteful runoff. Deep treatment of wall and ceiling voids, conduits, crawl spaces, hollow legs of tables, behind and under stoves and refrigerators and other voids where pests may hide. |
Rodent Control
Placing of rat baits on all would be harbonage of rats. (if there is an active infestation)
Placement of gel baits for cockroaches on all strategic locations and would be harborages on subsequent treatments if necessary, where spraying is not applicable. Use of fast acting chemicals and baits, other procedures which may be applied to certain areas depending upon the degree of infestation. Block all possible entry/exit points of rats ( to be provided and shouldered by owner),placements of rodenticide to all strategic locations and known harborages of rats. |
